I am just a  girl who loves sea turtles, Jesus and photography! I grew up and still live on the southside of Indianapolis. I am the oldest of 5, I have 2 younger brothers and 2 younger sisters. Justin and I have been married almost 23 years and have 5 pretty cool kids; Isaiah-20, Trinity-19, Joel-16, Leah-11, and Nora-7. I come from a large family, and secretly love the chaos, also I like to think I thrive on it. 

 

I got my first camera at 13 and have loved photography ever since, but didn't get serious until around 2009. 
 

I have learned a few things in my 14/15 years as a photographer; the more mom stresses-the more the kids stress, children take better photos if you let them think they are in charge, and maybe the most important thing I have learned is the perfect photo is not the perfectly posed faked smiles, the best photos are the ones you don't know I am taking!
